There’s a new species in town, the Nike Zoom Kobe VI. To replicate Kobe's on-court alter ego,"the black mamba", this shoe is designed around a “reptile scale” like structure. The upper is composed of a white base and grey scale details, black midsole and Swoosh logo, and the word “VENOMENON” on the yellow outsole front. The outsole features a Mamba herringbone traction pattern. This "home" edition is but only one of many CW which Kobe is expected to rock during the playoffs. Expect these to slither onto shelves tomorrow for a reasonable price.

Air Jordan Retro 7 Year of the Rabbit
Yet another installment has been made to honor the Chinese New Year by Jordan brand. Named the “Year of the Rabbit”, these Retro 7s are a spin-off of the previous “Hare” Jordan 7s but with a twist. Keeping the “Hare” base, the multi-color details are replaced by metallic gold accenting while other colorful designs were removed from the tongue, heel, and outsole. True red blushes the tongue and outsole while representing the rich Chinese heritage. A special YOTR patch stitches the back heel to finish this traditional look.
These special Retro 7’s are expected the release sometime this month as a Quickstrike reportedly around Easter.
Air Jordan Retro 5 Black/Metallic Silver/ Varsity Red
The Air Jordan Retro 5s are back; set to grace the sneaker world once again. Previously released in 2007, these Jordan 5s will be making its return with a noticeable change. No added feature or what have you but yet a replacement of material that makes up the upper shoe. Now sporting suede like material rather than the standard nubuck, these retros may not be that big of a hit to OG lovers but definitely will sell out.
Other than the change, the Jordan 5’s will drop with the same 3M reflective tongue, metallic silver details, red Jumpman on the tongue, and translucent outsole. Look for these Retros to hit retailers in August.
Nike Air Max LeBron V2 Low "Sprite"
LeBron continues to wow the sneaker community with his recent releases such as the "South Beaches" and this Air Max LeBron V2 Low will do nonetheless. As many know, LeBron is a pitchman of sorts for Sprite ala his recent commercial and has released previous Sprite inspired sneakers so it was only a matter of time before he came out with this colorway.
Dubbed the “Sprites”, they feature a synthetic treasure blue base and upper, white trademark Swoosh logos as well as midsole, and energetic volt green bubble and outsole. These are sure to be a refreshing thirst quencher for the craving sneakerheads once they drop this coming fall.
Nike Total Air Foamposite Metallic Silver/Black/Blue
In my earlier post on the Air Foamposite One White/Black/Royal, I spoke on a rumor regarding a price increase to come for Nike sneakers. It appears that this rumor has come true. These much anticipated Total Air Foamposite Max will drop with the price increase later this year. You’ve got to love this Metallic silver foam base, black nubuck uppersole, and newly featured blue bubble unit. No confirmation on whether the all white based foamposite will drop but if so then I will be first in line.
Nike Air Max LeBron 8 "South Beach"
When, superstar NBA player, LeBron James first announced he would take his talents to Miami, he shook the world. Shortly after, he released a prime shoe that would shake up the sneakerhead community. This colorway of the LeBron 8’s dubbed the “South Beaches” have become one of most sought after sneaker creations items as of late.
Reminiscent to Miami Vice, they feature a retro black upper nubuck sole, filament green lateral base, flash pink tongue lining, and clear translucent sole. This combination of colors really gel together to make a sneakerhead's mouth water. Still looking for your South Beach fix then you should be able to get these for a heavy price.
PUMA & UNDFTD clyde "Stripe Off"
Puma has begun a new collaboration with UNDFTD dubbed “Stripe Off.” Without the signature puma strip, there isn’t a lot of design going on, it’s kept very conservative and relaxed which is good to go for casual wear. The UNDFTD logo replaces the Puma logo on the tongue and metallic gold brands the heel setting the limited edition appearance.
Expected to drop on April 10th in limited supply, only select retailers will house these. If you want to gamble at getting your feet in one of the 1500 pairs, get ready to camp out in line!
Nike SB Dunk "High Supreme"
Yes, another set of special designed Air Force 1’s. The Nike SB Dunk "High “Supreme” gained inspiration from Mayor’s collection. The shoe is composed of Blue Supremes sitting on top of the regular Air Force 1 white midsole and a baby blue outsole. Gold stars bewilder Nike’s trademark swoosh logo to top it off. The colors complement each other to make a fabulous conversation starter with the right fashion.
